1. User Interface

Android team has worked really hard to bring a complete new UI for its OS. The Android 3.0 UI looks pretty much different from Android 2.2 or Android 2.3 mobile OS interface.

2. Books

Similar to iBooks in iOS platform, Android 3.0 also has a dedicated ‘Books’ feature for users who are interested in digital books. The new OS provides same book reading experience as we have seen in Apple’s iBooks app.

3. Games

Android OS is not known for excellent gaming experience. However, Android 3.0 is designed to support high end console games. Google also believes that many developers will come up with their games for the latest platform.

Although Google didn’t give much importance to Android 3.0 keyboard in preview event, the redesigned keyboard looks impressive and attractive. The perfectly placed keys will eventually provide seamless typing experience on tablet devices.

Android Market Webstore is something special for all Android users. The new portal can be used to purchase apps and games for Android tablets. Again, it is very much similar to Apple’s App Store and has almost all the features that users would want to see in an app store.

Another interesting feature is the In-App purchase. . If you want to buy a new service or app within app, it’s now possible in new OS. Both of these features will be available on Android 3.0

8. Notifications

Android 3.0 will be released with improved notifications. These notifications are built in such a way that it won’t hurt the tablet experience and still users will get notified for any update.
